2.1 - The crew shall choose one of its numbers to be the official representative and spokesperson for the crew in all of its dealings with officials and representatives of the Regatta Committee.

2.2 - Officials and representatives of the Regatta Committee may rely and act upon all statements or representations made to them by the Official Representative without having to determine that such statements or representations constitute the opinion or position of all or any members of the crew.
