NEW RULE: Tape and other such adhesive materials are not to be used on racing shells.

The use of any form of tape or such adhesive materials, by participants to modify or to attach to any component of the shells, is not permitted. For the purposes of attaching any allowable seat modification, as herein described, the use of Velcro is permitted, provided such form of attachment will not cause damage to the shell.
