The 1995 Keyin Tech crew demonstrated exceptional talent and a love for the St. John's Regatta. This outstanding group of athletes came together despite a wide range of roots and individual backgrounds that were greatly different. The crewmembers came from many diversified communities.

Anne Marie Tobin is a native of Trepassey.
Nancy Little is a native of Bonavista.
Diana Hogan is a native of Dunville.
Dawn Hannaford is a native of St. John's.
Williamina Martin is a native of Torbay.
Roxanne MacLaurin is a native of Prince Edward Island.
Rick Coish (Coxswain) is a native of The Battery in St. John's.
Mike Hickey (Coach) is a native of Outer Cove.

And yet they came together to become one of the greatest female crews to ever row on the surface of Quidi Vidi Lake.

Keyin Tech opened 1995 with a record time in winning the Placentia Regatta championship. It added the championship of the Harbour Grace Regatta, and, at The Royal St. John's Regatta, this determined group of athletes opened its day with a record race time of 5:01.94 to take the Women's Amateur Race and claimed the Championship Race in an impressive time of 5:01.98.

During the 1995 Regatta Season, Keyin Tech won every race that it entered. It is estimated that they devoted 425 hours of training, conditioning and on-water practice during 1995.

There were many sacrifices involved as six young skilled athletes, with an exceptional coxswain and an experienced and knowledgeable coach put together one of the finest seasons of rowing in the year of 1995.
