Greeting: For me Regatta Day ranks right up there with Christmas! I truly admire the dedication of the men and women who row, not just because they endure the off pond training, but also suffer on the pond when it's cold or raining during spring in Newfoundland. I know firsthand about the work required as I rowed with the Library Ladies Team in 1985. I also recognize the hard work it takes to stand on your feet as a volunteer worker in a traditional booth on Regatta Day. These people are such a big part of what makes our Regatta Day unique! And, without the music of the wonderful CLB Band, our races would just not be the same. In addition, I have really enjoyed meeting so many great friends through my years associated with the Regatta
