Discovery Day Races

The Discovery Day Races originally were held over the St. John's Day weekend a in the early 1990's. This event presented an opportunity for both staff and crews to get used to one another, and the lake itself.

The Discovery Day Races present crews and participants with the first 'event day' of the racing season. While not intended to be a fully competitive, but more of a 'semi-competitive' set of races, the event presents an opportunity for participants of whatever capacity to essentially 'hone' their skills in preparation for the all-important Time Trials day.
